Teams will have 15 challenges to complete. Challenges may be solved in any order. Each challenge leads to a location within Disneyland Park, Downtown Disney or the Disney Resort Hotels. Any restaurants that take reservations (both inside the park and in the resort area) are out of play. Some challenges will have answers that need to be entered in the online answer sheet and some will require a photo to be uploaded.
If a challenge asks for a location, enter the full name of the store, restaurant, or attraction it is asking for, not “the building across from the red tables next to the tree.” If a challenge asks for a photo, it must contain both team members holding the two team number cards as well as whatever is asked for in the challenge.
At each location, find a piece of specific information that answers a question or phrase indicated by underlined text in the clue. For some challenges, words are in bold to help determine where to go to locate the answer. The specific information for the challenge answer is indicated by underlined text.
Teams will have up to three (3) hours to complete as many challenges as possible. Each incorrect or unanswered challenge will add 30 minutes to the team’s final time.
There are also 5 eye-spys. For the answer, enter the location where the item in the photo can be found. Again, enter the full name of the store, restaurant, or attraction. Each eye-spy found will subtract 10 minutes from the team’s final time. There are no penalties for incorrect eye-spy answers.
Teams may receive hints at a penalty of 15 minutes added to their finish time, but once a hint is given that team will be out of contention for placing in the top 3.
Notes
Be aware that some areas of the park are unavailable during shows and/or fireworks.
Lines for security can be long at times (at certain times, it can take 30 min or longer to get through) This has been accounted for in the playtime for this game.
